your voice

find your voice at work, strengthen your conversations, improve your communication

The highest, most effective energy on this planet is your word. You must consciously understand the power of your voice, the power to speak and the power to listen. Your ability to succeed, create what you want and be happy are rooted in your conversations and every word you speak. Elevate what you say, how you say it, what you hear and how you hear it.

When you communicate as powerfully as you can, you generate greater connection, meaning and fulfillment in your relationships, your work and your life’s purpose.

Acknowledge the power of your word. Your ability to strengthen your voice at work and create the experiences you want are rooted in every word you speak and the conversations you keep. Take 100% responsibility for what you say, how you say it, what you hear and how you hear it. A powerful voice connects, inspires and mobilizes your audience towards the greatest good. The first step is to own the power of your voice at work and in your life.

Observe your words. Take note of the content of your conversations. Are the words coming out of your mouth aligned with your personal integrity? Where can you choose stronger words, or be more concise? Where are you tearing down, stalling or not committing? How can you better move forward and build up?

Be mindful of the energy in the exchange. In any communication, there is both content and energy. Is the energy exchange a give-and-take with the person or audience, are you on steamroll or being steamrolled? What energy are you bringing to the conversation? Are you allowing for a back and forth with your audience — where one talks and the other receives and vice versa? Or are you talking at each other where both are pitching and no one is catching? Practice playing with the energy exchange.
